Waterford Cleanway Initiative

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our first community initiative, the Waterford Cleanway.

There are many beautiful walkways throughout Waterford that provide wonderful, healthy environments for people to avail of for walking, cycling, or simply a place to relax and unwind. The unfortunate side-effect is that waste packaging, face masks, and other household waste find itself discarded along the walk. This has a significant impact, not just for the next visitors but for the local wildlife and flora that reside along these paths.

The Waterford Cleanway initiative aims at reducing the waste on the paths in order to keep the walks pristine. Fyrefli team members will be provided with equipment and time off to give back to the community. The walkways receive some TLC, visitors will be provided with cleaner walks and Fyrefli team members get a healthy walk.
