The company operates with a strong customer-focused approach, offering what they describe as a complete “one-stop-shop” service for retrofit and energy upgrade projects. Their team guides clients through every stage of the process, from initial consultation and grant assistance through to installation and project completion, with a strong emphasis on transparency, communication and quality workmanship. Encon is also registered with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and works in line with national standards set by SEAI, NSAI, Safe Electric and OFTEC.
Encon has developed a strong reputation within the retrofit and sustainable construction sector for delivering integrated “efficient living systems” designed to improve how buildings retain and use energy. Their services include external and internal wall insulation, airtightness solutions, ventilation systems, residential retrofits, commercial energy upgrades and passive house construction support. The company also assists customers in accessing available SEAI grants and energy upgrade schemes, making sustainable home improvements more accessible and cost-effective.
With over a decade of experience and more than 1,000 completed projects, Encon has grown into one of the South East of Ireland’s recognised retrofit specialists. The company combines technical expertise, sustainable construction methods and modern renewable technologies to help clients create warmer, healthier and more environmentally conscious buildings while reducing long-term energy consumption and carbon emissions.
Encon required a modern digital presence that could effectively communicate the company’s technical knowledge and industry expertise while still remaining approachable and easy to understand for homeowners and businesses exploring energy upgrades and renewable solutions. The primary goal of the project was to create a website that simplified what can often feel like a complex and overwhelming process, helping users feel more informed and confident when considering retrofit or sustainable energy investments.
A key focus of the project involved breaking down the retrofit journey and SEAI grant process into clear, digestible content that users could easily navigate and understand. The website needed to guide visitors through the available services, funding opportunities and upgrade options in a way that felt straightforward, educational and encouraging, removing the confusion often associated with grants, regulations and technical terminology.
Another important objective was to showcase the scale, quality and versatility of Encon’s work across both residential and commercial sectors. Through strong visual presentation, project-focused layouts and carefully structured service pages, the website was designed to highlight the company’s extensive experience in areas such as deep retrofits, solar PV installations, insulation systems and high-performance building solutions.
Lead generation and conversion optimisation also played a major role in the overall project strategy. The website was structured to create clear and accessible pathways for visitors to request quotations, enquire about services and begin their retrofit journey with ease. Particular emphasis was placed on promoting high-value services such as solar energy systems and complete retrofit packages through prominent calls-to-action and user-friendly enquiry forms.
In addition to improving usability and conversions, the website was developed to strengthen trust and reinforce Encon’s reputation as one of the South East’s leading energy upgrade specialists. Industry certifications, customer testimonials, completed project examples and years of experience were all integrated throughout the website to build credibility and provide reassurance to potential customers considering significant home or business investments.

To achieve the goals of the project, we designed and developed a robust, performance-driven website that aligned with Encon’s mission of creating more energy-efficient and sustainable homes and commercial properties across Ireland. The overall solution was focused on combining strong visual presentation with educational content and streamlined user journeys, ensuring the website could both inform visitors and generate high-quality enquiries.
The visual design of the website was built around a clean, modern and environmentally conscious aesthetic that reflected the company’s position within the renewable energy and retrofit industry. Through the use of carefully selected colour palettes, strong typography and high-quality project imagery, the platform was designed to immediately communicate professionalism, trust and innovation. The site structure was also strategically organised to cater to both residential homeowners and commercial clients, allowing each audience to quickly access the services and information most relevant to their needs.
A major part of the solution involved developing a clear and educational content structure that simplified technical services and funding opportunities for users. Dedicated service pages were created to explain the benefits, processes and long-term value of solutions such as Solar PV systems, insulation upgrades, heat pumps and deep retrofits in a way that was informative without feeling overly technical or overwhelming. We also implemented an easy-to-navigate grants and funding section designed to help visitors better understand available SEAI supports and financial incentives, encouraging users to take the next step with greater confidence.
To improve lead generation and increase conversion rates, we integrated custom enquiry and quotation forms tailored specifically to Encon’s service offering. These forms allowed users to clearly identify the type of upgrade or solution they were interested in, whether that involved attic insulation, residential solar installations, commercial retrofits or complete energy upgrade packages. By streamlining the enquiry process and collecting more relevant information upfront, the website was designed to help generate more qualified leads while improving communication between potential customers and the Encon team.
The platform was also developed with scalability and long-term content management in mind. A flexible Content Management System (CMS) was implemented to allow the Encon team to easily update service information, publish new project case studies, showcase completed BER transformations and share updates relating to SEAI grants and renewable energy developments. This not only supports the company’s ongoing marketing efforts but also helps position Encon as a trusted authority and educational resource within Ireland’s growing retrofit and sustainability sector.
